Matt Smith Leaving Doctor Who
During a recent interview with VH1, Matt Smith admitted that he will be leaving Doctor Who after the show’s upcoming 2012/2013 season. According to Matt, he only has a year left on his contract, and after that, he’s plans to head to LA to explore as well as work on other acting projects. Well, 3 seasons is the average time an actor spends playing the Doctor, so honestly, this isn’t really that unexpected. Best of luck to Matt in Hollywood!
